Get Help Today
If you need help with alcohol dependency, drug use, and gambling addictions, we invite you to contact our admissions team at Smarmore Castle.
Deciding to seek help can be challenging, but we will support you at every stage, providing the information and guidance you need. In addition, every patient receives a free pre-admission assessment.
Rehab Admission: Referral and Funding
Initial contact and referrals do not need to come through a patient’s GP or psychiatrist.
- We accept self-referrals from the patient, family members, employers, or other relevant professionals.
- We admit and accept patients from Ireland, the UK, The EU and even further afield.
- Patients either pay for treatment privately, through medical insurance or via a statutory funder such as the national health system.
Once we establish the type of funding, our admissions team will be able to process your admission to Smarmore Castle, and treatment can begin.
Free Pre-Admission Assessments
Every person considering admission receives a free pre-admission assessment over the phone before entering treatment.
The pre-admission assessment is essential as it will act as the basis for your future treatment plan.
Once conducted, one of our therapists or doctors will use this pre-assessment to assess the complexity of your case so that they can begin to assign and plan the most suitable in-person treatments and therapies.
