As part of our continuing commitment to the research and development of new evidence-based treatment for the rehabilitation of people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, Smarmore Castle Private Clinic is organising two full-day workshops on the 6th and 7th of December 2016.
The workshops will be facilitated by Dan Griffin, author, and advocate for changing the way we think about men. Dan’s professional background includes over two decades in the mental health and addiction field. He is an expert on male trauma. He is also a Senior Fellow for The Meadows treatment center in the USA.

New Relationship Tools for Men and Women in Recovery (7th December 2016)
Relationship Tools for Men and Women in Recovery The second workshop, on the 7th of December will investigate how each gender responds to emotional sobriety, how being men and women affects recovery, and what the challenges are of developing relationships and a balanced recovery in the 21st century.
The event is facilitated by Dan Griffin, the world leader in the area of men’s issues. He co-authored Helping Men Recover, the first comprehensive gender-responsive and trauma-informed curriculum for addiction and mental health professionals.
