If you feel like Smarmore Castle is the right fit for you or a loved one, then the next step is for a more in-depth screening assessment to be undertaken by someone from our admissions team.
This will be a conversation typically lasting 30 minutes, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences in more detail and answer some important questions about your drug and alcohol use. This stage is crucial as it will help us truly understand your needs; our therapeutic and clinical team will use this to devise a personalised treatment plan.

To guarantee a treatment program that’s both suitable and secure, we request contact details and notes from your doctor.
Many patients are in very vulnerable states when they first arrive, getting an understanding of one’s medical history allows us to develop an ideal personalised treatment plan and ensures safe and effective treatment.
